Fail
So about a month a go I was leaving campus and the roads were a little slick. I pulled up to a stop sign to turn left. Another car was coming from my left and turning into the parking lot that I was coming out of. So instead of slowing down the person decides to try to take the turn at 15-20 mph on ice and slides into me.
The damage was all on the rear drivers side wheel well area and the rim. I take it in to get an estimate (it was the other drivers fault so no need for me to pay) and they estimated about $3100 in damages. This was probably December 23. The guy tells me I can get it in till January 14th, yesterday. (also said it might be about a 2wk fix)
So my morning started out alright I got up early to bring my accord in to the body shop. I have my Dad follow me to give me a ride to my house after I drop it off. My Dad and I start heading to my house. We get within 2 blocks of my house and a guy slides through an intersect and my dad runs into him. My dad drives a Pilot and we hit a mid-90s silverado. Right away I just about start laughing cause it was too ironic. Getting in a accident after dropping off my car that was getting repair from a previous accident. The pilots cooling system got messed up and it's not drivable at the moment. So me and my dad are both out a car, but rental cars were the plan.
I go to the rental agency and they had a car for me but they told my dad it could be a few days until they would get one available. The guy working at enterprise said they had 4 of there cars wrecked in the past week.
It didn't end there either. I had my roommate drop me off at the enterprise. I got a saturn aura as a rental so i didn't complain too much cause it was better then no car. I'm driving back to my house and about a mile from enterprise FLAT FUCKING TIRE. I'm about to lose it about now cause it's -18 out and I'm changing this tire.
We'll see what tomorrow holds hopefully it's better than today. Fuck the weather and fuck people who don't know how to drive in snow.
