No heat. peel at 180 degrees slowly.

I installed and removed mine (long story but the first piece was a bad cut so I got a replacement.. I guess not that long of a story really)

It came right off. I would be leary of installing a clear bra on a repainted surface though. I'm pretty sure it would pull paint off.
