have you tried turning off and back on the onboard wireless instead of rebooting the router? alot of computers i deal with have trouble with certian harware after sleep/hybernate. my ATT pc card does the same thing on my 700m.

also, what SP is on the mini? wpa2 is only supported by xp sp3 and vista which could explain why it wouldn't work using that setting...
