Actually if you read the book of Exodus in the Bible, you'll find that the Jews were led out of captivity of Egypt by Moses 4000 years ago to the "Promised Land". They found themselves in the Sinai peninsula which is the whole region between Egypt and Saudi Arabia and includes the West Bank. Israel today actually covers less than 1/3 of that region. The jews have been in that area for over 4000 years... not a couple of hundred years. That's before Mohammed ever crapped on a pile of rocks. The jews have been chased out of every land they've ever inhabited and persecuted worse than any ethnic group in world history, period.

All of those things are facts that are reinforced 100x over by sources other than the Bible. Testable and factual sources including archaeological digs and every other written account of events in every country in the Middle East. It was based on those facts that the UN gave them that parcel of land as reparations for the holocaust.

BTW: I'm not Jewish, and I don't claim any religion or go to services, but I have studied religions extensively. Even if the Jews killed Jesus or if they're considered "settlers" by the muslims, History dictates that with or without the UN they have every right to be there. Brotha's should learn how to coexist and get along. Srsly. Muslims say any non-muslim is an infidel, and Jerusalem... the birthplace of Christianity is right in the middle of all this ish.

Whichever God is the right one has an awfully interesting sense of humor for putting their holy land in the middle of everyone else's holy land.
