On a recent road trip, I was driving and shifting pretty hard and my car decided to not let me choose any gear but 3rd. After a little work, I was able to get the car to reach all gears with no other problems for the rest of the 1700 miles of the road trip. After getting back home I was leaving work. started in first, went to second then fourth. when I tried to downshift to third, it would not accelerate. when I tried to put it back into fourth, it would go but there was more play in gear than I have ever had in nuetral. This problem degraded very quickly. By the time I got home, I only had 2nd 4th and reverse. In each of these gears I have excessive play.
The only mods on the tranny is an OBX LSD.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
