as stated just upgrade to the itr valve train..im my opion its fines.. also sdo you have the itr intake manifold and tbody? also do you plan on dynoing your car? we just dynoed a b20 vtec..eagle rods, je pistions at 12.0 comp..b16 head..stock intake mani and tbody with ctr cams..and the power peeked at 7800..so just shifting at 8200 would probably be optimal..best bet is to get it dynoed after and see where peak power is and then determine.
