The type R is really a collectors item.......It is a very nice car the way it comes from the factory, but but it doesnt respond as well to after market tuning, as do the LS and GSR. My opinion, get the LS or better yet, an RS, and then do a B18C heart transplant (tranny and all). An RS with a GSR motor transplant will be slightly quicker than an actual GSR. Also ....Alot of people get 17 inch wheels for their cars...they do this because it is a good compromise of speed AND looks, but the fact of the matter is, if you really want to be quick, stick with some lightweight 15s, and some sticky tires......With the above metioned combination, you will haul a** .
