those boom box things are designed to work with a receiver. the boom box is just a speaker / power supply / antenna for a receiver. also an account only covers 1 receiver, the truck has its receiver as part of the internal radio system.

the online aspect just registers that you are a user and lets you listen online. im actually listening online right now, the merger went through about 2 months ago and they consolidated alot of the channels.
