Anyone know if the PS3 upconverts dvd's? There are a lot of settings but I don't know what they do. I swear my dvd's looked better playing through my hd-dvd drive on the 360

I had an issue with mine not playing blu-rays at all.
Here it was the system in itself...it was faulty.
Thankfully I took it back to BB and they swapped it on the spot..no questions asked.
the 80gig PS3 should be able to play all blu-rays.
