Default I went to Spain. Pics.

So I went to Spain. I started in Madrid, then Taledo, Cordoba and Sevilla. I was there for about 10 days. I loved the experience. I am going to start traveling more...when money permits. I gotta say that being in a new country, guided by someone who is familiar makes a hell of a difference. I want to travel not because I want to see sights, but more of experience of the culture and learning the history. But, my pics will show most of the usual tourist stuff.

I was amazed most of the time because I loved the old school architecture and historic buildings. There isnt too much of that around here. Anyway...here are some pics and captions.

In Madrid. This was the typical big city with lots of attractions and tourists. This was the beginning of my first full day there. Of course it starts with Starbucks.

At the McDonald walk-thur. Yea, there are McDonalds, Burger King and KFCs in Spain.

Quick snapshot of some apartments. Everyone live in apartments there.

They eat a lot of bread. A lot of hard hard bread.

Here is a typical plaza or square. People hang out here to drink, smoke, eat and socialize. During the warmer time, restaurants have their tables filling up the square.

Statue in Plaza Mayor. I came here more than a few times for food and drinks outside.

Typical small streets. There are so many narrow alleys here. Pedestrians basically share the street with the cars and scooters.

My first reaction was, pretty big cathedral. Boy was I wrong. This one was nothing.

A pretty popular tourist attraction.

Inside the cathedral.

Catholic churches choose Bose.

Big organ.

Off to the Royal Palace. Long lines.

Me

Lots of arches.

I had to

Gross
