It was/is.
but as dumb as it sounds its been really good learning on both parts. I learned what I was doing wrong to fuel the fire, and learned that I needed to be more open and accepting, and he started to admitt why he would go, drink, and basically not care about anything, including himself.
He knows hes going to serve his time, and he knows that he deserves every hour/day/month of it. Hes well aware.
Im proud of him.
