put out our stands thursday afternoon, looked like a pretty good spot
nothing friday am hunt for us but the wifes cousin killed a hog
started raining around 1pm friday, rained til about 3 then we went back into the woods
nothing friday pm hunt except i blew the face off of a huge rabbit on the way out of the woods. first time i pulled the trigger on my new 11-87 so i broke that thing in right. :bowdown:
more rain :squint: it rained ALL night.
my brother-in-law forgot the cover to their tent so we put their tent under my canopy. to make a long story short, the rain buckled the canopy and landed on the tent so my FIL slept in my truck :rofl: RIP canopy :wtc:
this morning they wake up to go hunt (fuck that, i got no dry clothes left except one pants an one shirt). they get 2 trucks stuck trying to leave.
wake up, clean up the camp, go get our stands out, come out, pull out trucks and pull out camper.

no pics really except this one of the ruts i made pulling the camper out. 4LO and petal to the floor and that bitch was creeping like it was idling. talk about scary.





those fuckers are lucky i drove my truck and not my FIL's 2wd Tundra or we'd all be screwed. :rofl:
