How is the ride quality? Do you notice the car feeling spongy at times, almost bouncy? How are speed bumps and dips in the road, rough or springy?

If your shocks are so completely gone that you have no dampening effect what so ever, I can see this happening. The best advice I can offer you is - next time you have your alignment done, get the sheet, and post the results. And definitely goto a shop who hasn't previously dismissed your car of having any issues.

Edit: Have your wheel bearings checked, your wheel should not move from side to side at all. Same with ball joints. I forgot you posted that above.
