I'd say very secure in terms that my job is a necessary one. Not only that but as the economy gets worse, crime goes up so my job becomes more necessary. That being said my salary also comes from taxpayers so as people lose jobs then our budget decreases. I dont think I'll get laid off but you never know really. So far the main effect I've seen is overtime has really decreased.
