my buddy (best friend since childhood) is going through tough times right now with his wife and doesn't want to deal with it since they've talked about getting a divorce. I want to be there giving him support but he doesn't want to do anything else but alcohol/drugs.

i felt bad leaving him at the hotel last night . what would you do for a buddy in a situation like this?
