Seriously and no direspect to you meant here...to vote based solely on skin color, religious background or arty line is the worst possible way to choose a candidate. It opens the door for all kinds of people to get into office who may not have the best interest of the country in mind. This is why you need to pay attention to everything these people say during their speeches and debates instead of picking and choosing what to hear.

yes I admit on the surface Obama has a very good platform and ideals, the problem is that most of what he has proposed costs a lot of money and sticking it to the rich just because they are rich is not the way it should be done. I can guarantee you we are going to see a tax increase in all income levels, social projects will be put on the side and nothing of significance will get done. The redistribution of wealth has been tried in other countries...russia for one and it failed miserably and caused a severe downward spiral for the country, in fact it no longer exists partially because of it.

i dont take any direspect and i see what your saying, but like i said i had othe reasons for my vote for him, yea his race was a big part, but dont try and turn this into Race, my distrust for the other candidate was probably a bigger issue then obama being black...
and i dont mind paying a lil more taxes if it funds some services... we obviously need them IMO.
