Not as bad as a buddy of mine who actually cancelled his cable service when he found out his neighbors had open wireless. He bought a repeater, and then put up a shared network for his other roommates. Mind you these were the nerdy MMO 24/7 no womenz types, so i can only imagine what bandwidth must've been like
