So made some progress this weekend.

Progress in the sense that the entire rear end is mounted up:

I was missing parts. Ordered them up from Collin at Weksos 2 Friday's ago and they arrived this past Friday. The missing parts were the BLOX adjustable toe arms. I needed them to get the rear end on. Of course Collin came through in typical fashion.

The final piece of the puzzle:

I pack up my crap and drive 2 hours to get start for the weekend wrench session.

I arrive to this:

We move boxes out of the way and it's literally a treasure trove of car parts.

We found these guys randomly in the garage:

JDM Climate control. Purchased god knows when:

Jim Fab traction arms:

Apparently target now sells JDM healights:

Ericks Racing throttle body. 70mm tapered to 68 mm.

There were a bunch of JDM H4H bulbs, and JDM clear corners lying around. There's a JDM amber clock somewhere in there too.

I found something else for me to replace:

Luckily it's a quick tug away from being replaced.

JDM B18C with a 98+ spec ITR tranny. Hasn't turned over in 2 years. Hopefully nothing is living in that intake manifold.

We pulled the exhaust. It made it easier to remove the front sway bar. We also needed access to the heat shield above the exhaust to replace the e brake cables.

Here is the exhaust sitting outside, as well as half the garage. Notice the new meaty tires about to go on? The exhaust is an RSR Ex-mag

The car. Notice no rear suspension at all:

Cleaning parts:

Baby steps:

Trailing arms mounted:

Rear end installed. Pictured: Benen rear lower tie bar. ITR rear sway with one of the original Beaks mounting kits. Skunk2 rear lower control arms. Koni Yellow rear shocks. Ground control coilovers (550 rear springs). This was before the bolts were torqued down, and the sway bar connected to the lower control arms.

From the side. Rear disc brake conversion mounted up as well. New stainless steel lines to boot. Look good.

Made some seriously progress. I came home feeling accomplished. I also came home with more parts that need to prepped for the front end.

Remaining items to do:
Mount new 15/16th BMC
Mount 40/40 prop valve
Mount the Ericks racing TB to Skunk2 manifold
Replace bushings in the arms with poly urethane
Mount front suspension.
Mount Jim Fab arms
Mount GSR front sway bar
Install new outer tie rods
Install M factory RCAs
Reinstall exhaust
Reinstall shift linkage
Transfer GC coilovers to the new Koni yellow shocks
Install new brake lines
Install new rotors and pads front and rear
Install new axle
Refill and bleed the brake system with Motul rbf 600.
Get it aligned and tuned.
Race.
Damn that list is longer than I thought. I'm sure I'm missing stuff still.

Hope you enjoyed the update. More to come. Eventually.
