Another battery by itself would't be wise, best to do battery, hi output alternator and stiffening cap.
A battery is not a power source!!! A battery is a
storage device. Your alternator is the
only power source on your car.
Pros of an additional battery:
Extended listening possible with the car off
Cons of an additional battery:
Additional strain on factory charging system
Additional weight
Additional installation space/safety requirements (you have to vent it)
Need an isolator
Personally, I think that the cons outweigh the pros.
You should really take a look at what your total current draw is, then evaluate your electrical system need....post what you are trying to run.....
