In your case it wouldnt really matter, because the H22 conversion would be a hell of alot more money, and much more of a pain in the a** (The motor mount kit alone is 400 $,not to mention moving stuff around your bay, changing the suspension, axles, shift linkage, etc.). Stick with the B18c...its almost a direct swap, and you end up with a better $ to HP figure.
There are far more parts for the b18c as well; much cheaper to build up period.
Redline doesn't really mean much. American V8s redline at 5800 rpm...
