have you ever played on the beta for wotlk? all the healing classes seem unkillable unless you have 2-3 people focusing on them WITH some mortal strike debuff...
is penance a decent dps skilll? i only used it as a healing spell so far, then specced back to holy

i tried to play the beta but didnt really like the way it looked so i will just wait.
in terms of current patch though as a disc priest i can sit there and usually run my full mana bar before i die. only time i die faster is when i am locked down for the duration of the beating.
penance is ok as dps - haste + holy fire is better - in bg's i dont even bother dps'ing since mends/penance/renew usually do the trick - i can easily heal heroic 5mans and kara is a joke. did za once and that was pretty easy as well.
