You never draw your weapon unless you feel your life is in danger. If I honestly felt like I was going to die, I would draw my pistol.
Just because someone else has a gun doesn't mean they are going to use it. What if he also had a CCW? It just looked like a good ol' fashioned fist fight with a touch of WWF style chair shots. That's all.
Having a CCW means exercising restraint in situations just like that.
