i use those 30 dollar pesticide sprayers with water to rinse off the bay. i'll take shots later today when I do the engine bay.

thanks! the car was rear ended and my friend had the 98 up rear parts installed since it was the same price anyway, so yeah it was sold to me that way.

unless the car is really old or the engine is in really bad condition (ie, deteriorating rubber seals for the electrical connections) I don't bother covering things. But I do avoid thing like alternator, spark plugs, battery, the major electrical items. you can use aluminum foil to cover any suspect connectors and the alternator (don't use on the battery), foil is easier to keep in place and much easier to use.
yeah i really dont cover stuff, especially now that I use the pesticide sprayer. I'll use the exhaust port on my wet vac to blow the excess water out, and go straight to dressing
