I would go 9mm as well. You get can more range time because the rounds are cheaper
Because I know that anything you hold in one hand doesn't have one shot stopping power. You might as well have as many rounds in one hand as possible.
A reputable trainer told me that .mil guys coming back from the box told him, on average, it takes 5-8 shots to take someone down regardless of what they're shooting them with.
