Working from the pedal to the transmission:
-is the pedal stuck in a groove in the floor?
(yes, this problem was reported on this forum)
-have someone watch the shift release fork when you depress the clutch pedal
(no movement = problem in 1, 2, 3, or broken cable)
(movement = check stuff in tranny; go to 4)
1-what does the cable/pedal connection look like?
(cable end could have slipped free)
2-what condition is the pedal pivot in?
(broken pivot = no pull on cable)
3-is the clutch cable hole through the firewall intact?
(this hole is what the cable pulls against then transmits that force to the shift release fork)
4-is the bolt holding the throwout fork torqued correctly?
5-does the throwout bearing spin?
(is its spring clip correctly installed)
6-pressure plate problems?
(all fingers in an even shallow cone)
7-clutch plate problems?
(maybe a spring popped out of the clutch plate and jammed?)
8-is the offset between the clutch friction surface and the pressure plate mounting surface correct on the flywheel?
9-what about the little bearing in the center of the flywheel that holds the tranny's input shaft steady?
Take Care,
