When I got my permit I need to take a class, get interviewed by someone at police plaza and I can only leave the weapon in my home but, I can take it to and from the range.

Its not that easy here to get a permit


btw.. New York STATE laws differ than New York CITY laws.

in NYS you can go to a walmart and buy a rifle or shotgun without a permit. Handguns require a permit.
