I've heard people say they got tired of shifting...I've had my car for 8 1/2 years, and not even once have I wished I didn't have to shift.
I could probably deal with a DSG or some kind of automated manual...but I absolutely hate driving an auto. I even drove my friend's C63 AMG and although it was fast as balls, I still didn't really enjoy it.
