You know, I just look back and don't try to rose tint it all. There was stuff that didn't work, and I also stress myself to think of the bad. Not in a distancing sense, but in a realist, trying to keep it in balance sense. After a while you begin to look at it objectively.
Also, I try to think of myself as married any time soon, and that prevents a LOT of thoughts back on the past
