yeah, i'm going to try the flashing programs tonight. i'm hesitant to try any of the methods that involves massaging the screen though. i tried on my work monitors just as a pretest with some significant force and no change. i also have a flasher running on one of the pixels right now. it's been going for hours, nothing.

i working from home tomorrow so i'm also going to give circuit city a call and find out what their exchange policy is, and more importantly what happens if the replacement also has a problem.
