In CO, you need that shit constantly, or you need to just forget about it. Gravel instead of salt in the winter is the main factor, but there seems to be a lot more road debris in the mountains. The front of my car looks like it's been media blasted with nuts and bolts.
Same here, they just dump gravel, esp. in the parking lots. When I first inspected the front of my car closely, it was like the prev. owner drove 2 ft. behind a truck on a gravel road each day.

That's good advice, comes off much easier at 180 than 90. Although when I did some paint work on my car, I did pull some of the reg. masking off at 90 (before realizing 180 was easier) and my paint was fine. Shitty quality tape ftw, very low adhesion.
