No no. In certain instances particles can move faster than the speed of light in a vacuum.

An example being tunneling, where an particle passes through some obstacle that classical physics would predict it could not. i.e. its kinetic energy is too low.

Quantum is very interesting. One course was enough to appreciate it, but not really understand it.
