Chuck got fucking OWNED.
Chuck lost to basic boxing fundamentals of chin down arms up-- it's either he changes his game since it doesn't work anymore or fade away from the spotlight. People have adapted to his game of patience and counter hitting with hit-and-run tactics, good footwork to stop him from pinning a guy to the cage. and not fearing his stand up like many did in the past.
Solid win for Evans but he still lacking in all aspects besides wrestling/GnP. Until that one hitter quitter his striking was pretty wild. Nice setup nonetheless but I'm curious to see who they'll pair him up with next since most of the division is inconsistent (besides Machida) and locked up in other fights. I say a guy with a proven BJJ base will be an good matchup for Evans since he hasn't fought anybody even at the gatekeeper level that's good at submissions.
My guy Palhares lost but at the very least he showed that he's got a good gas tank, aggressive as hell on the ground, and can take hits especially if it's from Henderson. Henderson ragged him a few times and he was still able to scramble out of it and at times into a submission. Hopefully he'll learn how to set up takedowns with strikes in later fights.
