BTW, in CA, a gun is considered "loaded" if unexpended ammunition capable of being discharged from the firearm is in the immediate possession of the same person. So, in areas where one can openly carry an unloaded firearm, if you have one round of ammunition for that firearm in your pocket, you're now considered to be illegally carrying a loaded gun.
