I mounted mine next to the door speaker! It sounds great!!! But There is no way the pannel will fit back on! I would sugest (since you are good at tweeking panels) that you figure out how much space you have left around the panel (after you put the midrange speaker in) and find out were you can REALISTICALY have room to mount it! Then (after you find the desired spot) cut a hole for the tweeter in the panel, Epoxy it in and paint the panel all the way to the top of the edge of the tweeter 
This way the tweeter will look stock! Just my $10 ;0) you owe! LOL
something to think about. I kinda like my idea better though cause the angle the tweeters will be mounted at will make imaging better, and easily adjusted.
