I also heard she was under investigation for some ethics scandal, kind of an odd choice but I guess to attract a bit more female voters turned off on Obama I can see it happening.

Kind of like Obama. I suppose it could be a good thing or a bad thing. Experience is good, but getting some of the "insiders" out of Washington is good too.
