lowering does NOT necessarily cost 600-1000 dollars. It only costs that much if you either want eibach prokits+koni yellows OR teins/apex'i/tanabe full coilovers with adjusting dampeners. If you simply get springs and use stock shocks, you'll only spend about 200 dollars including installation and alignment. Its just personal preference as to how much u wanna spend on a drop, but lotta people do just go with springs on stock shocks and it seems to work fine as long as the drop is not a slam to the floor.
