I tested both the Alpine and Pioneer for mp3 load time. The Pioneer was noticably slower and if you're like me that's just not going to do. So I purchased the Alpine (7897) and it should be here next week!

what do u mean by noticable? is the 7894 transition time between tracks as fast as regular audio cds?
