I like the 1st one of those two, looks like a good everyday watch. I like the face of the second but not the band, too "dressy" looking.

And there is way too much going on with those citizens, the face is so busy. Though you might be able to calculate the angle of the sun & the moon and when the next eclipse will be, you won't be able to glance at it and tell what time it is right now.

I picked up a Seiko Samurai a few months back, and I love it. It's much more solidly built than my old Invicta S2 dive watch.
