No, a USA car has to have something like F22A1 or F22A2. USDM engines have that number at the end.

You have the car? So look on the engine block, alongside the exhaust manifold, right next to the split where the transmission & block come together. Look for a flat machined surface with numbers stamped on it.

First line = engine type like F22A2
Second line = engine serial #.

Unless its a V-6...

And some years EX & LX have different engines, some years the DX has the oddball. And California often has another type of engine.
