I know exactly what your problem is!!!
when you put the new axle you didnt sit it right...you have to make sure the boot is completely touching!! There can be NO gaps...

Last week i replaced my passenger side axle and when I took it off it started leaking the trans fluid...when I put the new axle back it stopped...no leaks yet...
Once you put in the new axle you can hit it lightly(i did say lightly) with a hammer so it sits right!!
