since the lugs are so close to the center of the wheel, they really arent going to make that much of a difference in rotating weight. being so close to the center of rotation they create such a small moment that it is probably negligible as compared to if you were save 10 grams at the edge of the wheel. and saving 40 grams in unsprung weight is also negligible when compared to a 200 pound suspension set up. my two cents
If you spend $1200 on a set of the lightest wheels on the market, $900 on chromoly lower control arms, $300 on some lightweight springs and then $300 for a lightweight flywheel, are you really going to skip on $65 to lose as much weight as possible?
