a few nites ago, me, jenn & a few friends went to the bluebird cafe (a local venue infamous for where all the songwriters get together) for a writer's nite & Jamey Johnson was there. this guy is an AMAZING singer & songwriter....think david alan coe & hank jr back in the day

among others, he wrote/co-wrote "give it away" by george straight & "honkeytonk badonkadok" by trace adkins

he did his new song that is out & i was floored by how well he sounds live....wish i had video'd it w/ my camera, but found one on youtube
