thanks guys. Yeah, I definitely want to do something with the gravel driveway, as it's been a weeded nightmare this summer. I guess the previous owners got a quote to concrete the driveway and it was $18k so I'm not sure that that's an option. :hs: I'm thinking I can get it asphalted for about $4k although brickwork or pavers would look ballin'.
Concrete is crazy expensive because China is buying it all up. pavers would be even more expensive.. Do you know the square footage of the area??
For reference, I had something like 11 yards of concrete and with labor (the mehico hookup) I paid 15k. I was quoted 20-30k for the work.
Another option would be just to asphalt or paver or concrete the large portion right by the garage and lay two strips of concrete from the street to the pad. It would cut down a lot of yardage.
