hell its insane to think how more environmentally friendly a new refinery would be compared to an old one.
not to mention we could build one new one based on current technology, shut down 2 old ones and still have equal production output i'd be willing to bet.
our refineries are dilapidated piles of shit and noones forcing the oil companies to fix them so they dont give a shit
