Fun is a state of mind. I'm such a carefree traveler, I can enjoy myself pretty much anywhere.

With that said, I enjoyed Maui a ton. Beautiful beaches, not terribly hot (nice breeze), and just a nice laid back atmosphere.

If you mean "fun" as in clubbing, you probably want to hit up any of the main touristy mexican cities (cancun, cabo, puerto vallarta, etc).
