I pulled my b18b1 and am in process of installing a b18c1. The motor is in for the most part. The fluids have been refilled. I tried to start it and it turned over right away but backfired real loud. The whole distributor was out so I reinstalled it. Could that be misaligned and causing the backfires? I was told that the accelorator cables for the vtec motors are longer than the non vtec motors. Is that true. I can't figure out how to set the cable. Any feedback would be a help. Thanks...so close yet so far away...
