^ I've always believed that more power is actually better for fuel economy than less power.

Part of the reason my VX never did as well as others is because you had to rev the piss out of it in order to keep up with traffic here at high altitude. A weak motor getting beaten on at 100% will get way worse mileage than a big, powerful motor cruising at 15%.

I'm throwing a b20 into my civic and I'm confident I'll get better mileage on average than I ever did with the d15z1 (keeping in mind most of my miles are city and it's hilly around here). Running 85 octane will be a plus too h:
