so this girl i know wanted to go see dark knight. told her i wanted to see it on IMAX or not at all & she agreed that would be the way to go. she said she was going to get her roommate & roommate's bf & a few other people to go too. so we made plans to go sun aft.

well last nite, i'm hanging out w/ her while she's working at the bar. a friend of her's comes up & starts talking to her & i overhear her friend ask her if she wants to go to the friends parent's lakefront cabin sat nite aft work & come back monday morn. she tells her "i can't...i have a date sun nite"

covo a few minutes later:

me: so what nite during the week you wanna get everybody together to see the movie?

her :i thought we decided we were going sun aft?

well i heard you tell lori you had a "date"

uuum...yeah...you and me

oh, so it's a "date"?

uuum....yeah...isn't it?

why yes, i guess it is!

oh...my roommate is gonna be outta town & everybody else flaked, so i guess it's just me & you
