So what in your vast life experience supports the fact that the rest of the world is more motivated? Based on studies I've seen, Americans still work the longest (most hours per week), hardest, and achieve the most output per hour worked than just about any other country.
Sure, the cool thing is to blame the average American for not wanting to do agricultural labor, but frankly, we don't live in an largely agricultural society more... atleast outside of the midwest.
Have YOU worked in a union plant? It's not an 8-hour workday by any means.
I imagine the workday in China or India involves more actual work. i.e. the countries we are competing against.
