Seriously before the illegals we did just fine picking our own fruits, nuts and vegetables. Once the illegals came things were adjust to accomodate for them and now they will adjust right back.
The price of fruit is not worth the horrible drain on our economy these illegals put on it. There are plenty enough legal americans that need work, just because they see this kind of work as being beneath them does not mean they are not capable of or in need of the work

not to mention the amount of border violence that should be stopped. I don't think a lot of people back east have a clue how dangerous the border has become. There are rape trees just before the mexican/us border where the cayotes will rape all the women and hang their panties as part of their payment to come over the border. How f'd up is that?
There was a bunch of mexican army men that were caught unloading 100+ rounds into a Phoenix house of a drug dealer. so to all of you that live in your ivory towers no where near the boarder, take a visit to Nogales AZ and chill out for a week or so. then report back to me and tell me things are just fine.
If you have the balls to go even further try going just south of the boarder, if you run into one of the many waring drug cartels I'm sure they will treat you with open arms.
